Hold you close

hi there guys! it's been a while since I've posted anything here, due to drawing only backgroundless flat color or shaded pictures for FurAffinity lately that I don't want to submit separately here. I'll need to make a spamdump of some sort, or two- clean and mature. anyhow, enjoy this artwork here for now!

here's a traditional pic I did a few days ago and planned to upload it sometime later when I give the original to my boyfriend, but I really wanted to share it with you ^^ I adore drawing with my Koh-I-Noor leadholder, it's wonderful for large pencil artworks! though I always end up with my hands and desk completely dirty.

the characters are my Meerkat and his Wolf, not really having any names of their own besides Mushroom and Ikki, which are simply our nicknames xD
